A little help, when you need it.
From your first clip to your finished download.
Choose your video
Open VidNeat in Chrome or Edge on a computer and choose a video up to 2 minutes and 100 MB. MP4 is recommended. Your video stays on your device.
How much of my video will be processed?
Your whole video is processed, up to 2 minutes and 100 MB. A 2-minute input produces a 2-minute result. Videos over either limit cannot be started: trim a longer video or choose a smaller file and try again. Your video is never silently shortened.
Choose your result
Fast mode is a good starting point. Detailed mode takes longer and may improve edges in some scenes. MP4 replaces the background with your chosen color. WebM preserves transparency. Downloads use Standard quality and keep the original proportions. Smaller videos keep their original size.
Preview and download
When processing finishes, play the result and check the edges. Download saves the file to your device. Switching the preview background does not change the downloaded file. Changing processing settings requires a new run.
Why is a transparent video black?
Some players show transparent pixels against black. Switch the preview background to white or pink to check your result. Use an editor that supports transparent WebM files. Use an MP4 color background if transparency is not required.
If processing stops
Try Fast mode or a shorter video. Close other demanding tabs, keep this tab in the foreground, and use Cancel to stop a task before retrying. If the file cannot be opened, try another MP4 video. HDR videos are not supported; use a standard video instead. Phones, tablets, Safari and Firefox are not supported.
